I seriously don't think I could sit through David Archuleta singing 4 or 5 songs at the end of the show.
If this child should win this competition, someone wake me when the group numbers begin. Seriously. He is so BOOOOOOOORING!!! Sometimes I think, it's just a simple thing I close my eyes and I realize all I really need Is a love I had, and the love I had to give Cause anything else there is – is insignificant In this tiny life. |

Meant that it really doesn't matter who gets stuck with all the obligations of the title.

I did think that Archie took the night. Cassie said that his voice sounded more open, more relaxed than ever before, and I agree. But, he's still not my choice. Might have to sell my AI tickets if he wins!
 Flipping through the stations on the radio this morning, every station had people calling in with their opinions on the night. Consensus, Archie was great last night, but all the people who called in voted for Cookie! Yes, they will both get their contracts. But it won't be long before Archie is singing for The Mouse! Soul to me is a feeling, a lot of depth and being able to bring to the surface that which is happening inside, to make the picture clear. The song doesn't matter. Was that a ship anchor on Archies shirt?I was hoping with a shirt like that he'd sink....wishful thinking never has gotten me far.:grin:Have to agree with Amy VERY BORRRIIINGGGGGG.DC I want to win think he is so more well rounded and ready for the cameras and interviews.But I don't care for his voice much to close a match to Daughtry who I really hate.Sorry but I won't be buying either cd's that come out.

And then I remembered something I saw during a sulking spate on YT after deciding there was no way I was going to be able to fit in their Bangor show. And granted they've done some videos that wander the fine line between cheesy and campy This is - - - well you decide (Oh mercy ! :grin TV Dinners The guys have done a few of those "just having fun" videos but they paid their dues with some serious kick a$$ blues and rock before that. Feeling another ZZ Top kind of day coming on - - will build a playlist in Other Artists as I go maybe. Margaux - we must educate Lisa on the stylings of Mr. Cook. He's really not a Daughtry clone. We promise. What have I got to do to persuade you otherwise...a copy of his indie release, Analog Heart? His voice is beautiful and can be molded into any style. itunes, baby! Try them! I really hope David Cook will win, but I'm okay with Archie winning
as I think he's much better suited to the AI machine, jumping through their hoops, family friendly appearances,etc. I'd like to see David C. be able to fly on his own after seeing the AI aftermath with Taylor  I think both Davids went in it last night to win. Their styles are just so different. Archie went for predictable cheese. David C. showed his true style. I can live without hearing Randy say "You could sing the phone book man" ever again  Yes, Margaux got it right re coronation song!  ETA I think the judges to try to lead people, but I think they do it the opposite sometimes. I still think Simon actually helped Taylor by making him an underdog along the way. Last night, I think they almost invited voters to prove them wrong and choose David C. JMO "No love, no friendship can cross the path of our destiny without leaving some mark on it forever."
