RE: Concert Alerts for New England - Feb 19 Update - New Festival for Maine !
Haven't had much time this week for online fun . . stumbled over this tonight . . also gave it a thread of it's own to help casual site visitors see it.
From the DTB website

On June 3, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band will open for the legendary Jeff Beck at Boston's Bank Of America Pavilion. Tickets are on-sale now and available here. This is the first time that Derek or Susan has shared a bill with Jeff Beck, and anytime two of Rolling Stone's Top 100 Guitarists perform on the same night, it's a special event - don't miss it!

That would be one phenomenal concert. I don't think I can go because people from out of town are going to start arriving for my son's HS graduation that weekend. But boy, I'd sure go if I could. I have seen both Derek and Jeff separately, and both are unbelievable. What an amazing double bill!!

RE: Concert Alerts for New England - March 8 Update - Dierks Bentley in NH 5/7
He puts on a great show! I've seen him twice!

Sometimes I think, it's just a simple thing
I close my eyes and I realize all I really need
Is a love I had, and the love I had to give
Cause anything else there is – is insignificant
In this tiny life.

Thanks Lisa. . I hadn't seen that. some of the guys I know from the GPN shows like her a lot and put her music in my path. I've become a fan but not at the level will go too far out of my way . . definitely interested in catching her show when it's convenient though.

If I were in/ near Boston I would catch this show in a heartbeat. Found this band because of another band I follow ( yes GPN - surprised ? lol ) and like what I've heard.
This is actually a support gig for Deer Tick, but for a $20 ticket I'd go just to hear them.

They are playing in Portland the Monday night before . . and sadly I can't go to that one either.

Port City is bringing in a lot of shows now . . some names you know and some that are trying to make their mark.
There's too many to bring over one at a time . . so please click on the venue name and check out what's scheduled so far . . they are adding constantly.

Their Tuesday TWO deal co-sponsored by Magic Hat is a winner if you're in the area.
$2 ticket / 2 bands / $2 draft beer . . doesn't get much better than that.
