This is what I'm doing this weekend, but it's not concert or music related.
I'm going on the Mohawk Trail in Mass. I'm sure some of you have gone that route or are familiar with it. Friends of mine are going and invited me to go along. Indian shops, and trading posts and a chance to see an Indian Pow-Wow.
I went with them a few years back for the first time.

We went apple picking today as we do every year at this time and WOW what all that July rain and cooler than average August nights have done to the apple crop here in NH this year! They are BIG and plentiful...limbs HEAVY with beauties...I will be baking some apple dumplings soon!

My favorite time of year is almost upon us! October Grin ....so glad we don't turn clocks back until November now and Halloween is on a Friday this year!

Go Pats! Heart

RE: What are you doing this weekend ? - Concert Alerts for New England
Ok heres my week-end story.Just call me the little chipmunk after I'm done you will so understand why I'm calling myself the little busy chipmunk.crying
My hubby and kids hauled pellets to our house and to my mother-in-laws.Hers the numbers 4 TONS to our house , now let me break this TON number down so you can really get the jist of this little job.One ton of pellets equals 50, 40 lbs bags of pellets. So the truck can haul 1 ton at a time and might I add the truck is dragging ass with this ton of pellets on it.So anyway we hauled 5 TONS to our house that will heat our house for the winter. Now in laws just put a pellet furance in their house because it will be a lot less $$$$$ than censored fuel oil. Here the cost saving 6,000.00 a year for oil verses 1,200.00 for pellets. So today we did their winters load which was 5 TONS.smog my back.We had to put theirs in the basement of the house ours we unloaded into our garage. So we took the plastic slide off the kids play set and screwed it to the edge down into their cellar with me unloading truck and hubby at the bottom of slide stacking bags in basement. It's easier that wood but damn still hard on the back. Oh this is funny now father-in law just had his hemmorodes (sp)cut out of his ass last Monday so he's useless and mother-in--law weights less than a bag of pellets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!RotflRotfl I told our kids they had better move far away when we get old so that they don't end up bitching about their helpless parents...........Ain't life GRAND.Haha

I GOT MY TOES IN THE WATER
ASS IN THE SAND
NOT A WORRY IN THE WORLD
A COLD BEER IN MY HAND
LIFE IS GOOD TODAY.
