Very cool Karen ( and Kris ! )
If we were close enough I'd have my granddaughter signed up in a heartbeat.
At not quite 5 we've concluded she has all the makings of a rock 'n roll drummer chick . . including the 'Tude !! Grin

OK I tried The Drummers Studio last nite with Kris and I had a BLAST! You know you're getting a teacher with tons of experience under his belt. I always loved the drums and I never thought I would be able to read music and play all in the same nite. I'm telling you if you're looking to try something new and fun then you should try this. Kris is a great teacher and it was just fun and the time flew. Step out of the box and go for it...you'll be glad you tried something new.

I saw the drum studio the other day and it rocks! It's a great set up and I'm waiting for my lesson next. Just a few more weeks and I'll be close enough. Kris' drum kit is sweet and man can he play. I never heard him play when he was touring with Taylor but I walked through the front door and was blown away.

Wish I were closer...I actually have a set of drums I got one year for Christmas. I took a few lessons locally, but haven't done anything on them for years Sad. It's pretty fun banging around on them!Grin

I have wanted to learn for a long time. But sadly, he's too far away for me too!

Soul to me is a feeling, a lot of depth and being able to bring to the surface that which is happening inside, to make the picture clear. The song doesn't matter. It's just the emotion, the way it affects other people. - Aretha Franklin
