Clay Connor is doing a concert on ThanksGiving evening!
This was posted on Clay Connors FaceBook page. :music:
"I will be playing at Smith's ole bar in atlanta with my good friend Craig Mcgriff on thanksgiving night nov.26th we will also have some other guest so come shake that turkey loose." If I wasn't having family over and was anywhere near there that evening I would head on over to hear some great music... A perfect way to finish the night. The torture continues.... still no concert close to me ...yet...  For those of you lucky enough to be able to go I have one word for you... Hey ..I was just wondering....
Anyone want to take my place here at my house and cook Thanksgiving dinner for my family and entertain all my relatives for me so I can go? There are perks like........ All the free food you can eat and carry home with you , dish pan hands and a sore back from cleaning but you will burn so many calories and tone up all over, sort of like a free aerobic exercise class, all the Motrin you need ( I might even have some Vicodin), and lots of bad jokes told by family members for entertainment..... you can even watch and cheer the lions as they lose yet another game but HEY...they might score once and thats cause for celebration! any takers????? HUH HUH???? How can you pass up a deal like this???? Hurry before someone gets to take advantage of this unique offer although I will consider allowing two or more people to fill in for me... misery does love company.... ..ummmm I mean...... spread the joy around!........yeah.... thats what I meant!........really!!! disclaimer: once offer is excepted there is no take backs and no refunds. Another words your stuck. The exceptie assumes all risks of gaining too much weight from over eating and all headaches and muscle aches surrounding the activity. The exceptie also understands that there will be female relatives in the kitchen with you that will do everything in their power to over complicate the dinner preparation under the pretense of helping thusly making dinner at least an hour late to the table. The exceptie will further understand that all males in the house become very chauvinistic and won't lift a finger except to signal for third or forth helpings to which you must run immediately to the kitchen and get it for them ASAP or they may starve. And the exceptie will also understand that all minors or young adults under the age of 21 will NOT help and want to complain till they can play video games or go and meet their friends/dates or want to hang out in their rooms or be on their cell phones or all of the above. And finally the exceptie will understand that when it is time to take left overs ALL in the house will claim not to want any but expect you to pack them left over boxes (boxes and boxes) for them while they look over your shoulder drooling and telling you more of that or less of that and WOW!? that's gone already??? and so on. One more thing... the exceptie will further understand that while they are at my house I will be enjoying a great show being done by Clay Connor when they could have gone themselves...... mwha ha ha ha hah... You did read my disclaimer right? |

Clay just posted another update on his Facebook about his upcoming gig on Thanksgiving day...
" Clay Connor Checkout my acoustic show at Smith's ole bar in Atlanta november 26th with Craig Mcgriff.We will also have some guest and look forward to seeing you there." It sounds like there will be others playing with them that night... ARRGGGGg ...why do I have to live so far away? At least I have his Cd to listen to to console me till I can see him perform live. |
